The Board of Trustees are looking to appoint a values-driven CEO to provide visionary leadership to IRW, who inspires, engages and motivates employees, supporters and partners, to deliver IRW’s vision and mission and to further develop the organisation’s leading position within the global NGO community.
The ideal candidate should be:
• A dynamic and inspiring leader with a track record of strategic leadership and of motivating multifunctional teams in substantial, complex, international organisations.
• A professional with a strong track record of humanitarian experience and a deep understanding of Islamic humanitarian principles together with an in depth understanding and knowledge of Islamic values.
• Able to demonstrate the ability to integrate Islamic humanitarian principles with contemporary humanitarian approaches.
• A good communicator with experience of building relationships with external opinion makers (Governments, media, etc) to generate support for the IRW mission.
• Financially competent with a demonstrable track record of senior non-profit management.
