The Academy of a leading international aid charity seeks a Learning and Development Administrator to take sole responsibility for the day to day co-ordination of all learning and development activities, to act as the key point of contact for the team and internal/external customers, providing advice and guidance on products, services and processes within the department.
Based in Birmingham, the post involves liaising with potential learners to provide a streamlined service from registration to attendance, supporting their needs and requirements as they arise. Other duties include maintenance and administration for the Academy’s e-learning portal, the collection, collation and presentation of information in order to advertise learning and development activities and producing reports on evaluating those activities.
Candidates should be confident and highly organised with a natural communication skill and experience in administration, preferably within a Learning and Development environment. Candidates must be able to work on own initiative and take responsibility where needed. The successful candidate will have an excellent level of computer literacy and excellent written and spoken English and it would be advantageous to have a working knowledge of Arabic and French. Ideally, the post holder will have experience within the humanitarian and development sector and also be able to communicate effectively with international and multilingual clients.
