The Communications Support Officer is responsible for providing extensive admin and creative support to the Communications Division, being a port of call for all partner and field office communications staff to ensure the smooth running of the Division. The post holder will write briefs and discuss with creative agencies, supervise and oversee the development of the project. S/he will make recommendations on improvements and usability of digital assets such as the website and social media channels to improve digital marketing efforts. The post holder will devise and implement new ways to build capacity in field offices.
The successful candidate will have experience in assisting and managing all aspects of marketing campaigns and the production of marketing collateral through to completion. The candidate must be a team player as well as being able to work on own initiative. The post holder will have experience in developing and implementing social media strategies and campaigns. The post holder will have a proven experience of compiling evaluation data across a range of channels. The job holder will be IT literate with a command of MS Office applications, social media platforms and analytics software.
