We are looking for a talented and driven ICT Infrastructure Engineer to join our ICT team based in Birmingham delivering ICT services across over 40 countries. In an increasingly digital world, ICT is a strategic enabler for Islamic Relief delivering business applications, infrastructure and technology leadership to drive our mission. To be considered, you will bring solid knowledge and hands-on experience of working with Microsoft, Cisco and VMware based solutions having worked with or built enterprise grade infrastructure. You will leverage excellent project management skills and migration experience to support the delivery of key infrastructure projects as we transition from on-premise to public cloud services such as Office365 and Amazon Web Services (AWS}. A team player, working with experienced engineers and support staff, you will motivate yourself and others to ensure solutions are technically robust, delivered within time/budget and transitioned to support effectively.
It would be advantageous to be familiar with the configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of servers, switches, security appliances, SANs, firewalls and telephone systems and also have a working knowledge of on-premise Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Lync, Microsoft Forefront and Microsoft SharePoint.
