IRW is currently recruiting for the position of ‘Head of Finance' to join its dynamic Finance division. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Corporate Service, you will be responsible for managing the function including internal and external management and performance reporting, financial accounting and ensure consolidation of accounts and auditing across all group operations.
The successful candidate must have or be:
- Member of one of the professional accounting bodies (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA) is essential. A management degree is desirable
- Substantial experience of audit, regulatory frameworks, risk management, assurance, control of financial resources and financial management at a senior level
- Ideally from the big 4 audit background
- Proven experience of managing staff at managerial level, strategic planning, budgeting and corporate decision making
- Proven experience of engaging with and influencing decision-makers with sound political judgment and sensitivity
- Ability to demonstrate strategic leadership skills particularly in an environment of change
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively using a variety of techniques
- Proven experience of collaborative working as part of a high performing team at a senior level
- Demonstrable analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills to support effective strategic thinking
- Demonstrates self-management and awareness with a high level of energy and flexibility
