We are currently looking to hire an External Engagement Officer, who will be located in London. The External Engagement
Officer will be supporting the planning and execution of the PR strategy to enhance the reputation and increase the exposure of the organisations great work around the globe in the eyes of the global media and external stakeholders.
External stakeholders include but are not limited, to multilateral, multinational and governmental organisations, corporations, philanthropists, and community leaders. The post holder will build and maintain a database of global Islamic Relief engagements. S/he will assist in the preparation of tailored high-quality briefing papers, speeches and other background materials for senior leaders, and support for others as needed.
The successful candidate will have a Degree or qualification in PR, International Relations or other degree highly desirable.
The successful candidate will have strong team-working and interpersonal skills, able to work in a collaborative manner and connect with people genuinely from a wide-range of backgrounds. You will have the ability to work on your own initiative and to specified deadlines. The post holder will be IT literate with a command of MS Office applications, in particular PowerPoint and Excel. The candidate must have exceptional oral and written presentation skills in English.
