We are currently recruiting for the position of ‘Administration Assistant' to join its dynamic Network, Resource and Development Division. The purpose of the role is to provide a comprehensive administrative support and service to the Islamic Relief Partner Development team. To establish and maintain effective communication with all members of the team and other functions of IRW where relevant. Provide support to fundraising and volunteering activities and projects to help ensure that maximum income is received in partner development focus countries. To maintain Partner Development’s infrastructure, facilities and services to provide suitable work environment. To ensure Partner Development’s financial accountability, transparency and accuracy through participating in well designed and implemented systems, policies and procedures.
The successful candidate must have or be:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail; ability to organise; prioritise and work efficiently under pressure and subject to changing priorities; proven experience in meeting deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent levels of computer literacy
- Strong ability to work off of own initiative as well as be a team player
· Experience in managing multiple projects at the same time
- Considerable experience in general administration and customer service
