JOB TITLE: Finance Officer

LINE MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES: Finance Assistant
JOB SUMMARY
Under the guidance of the FC/SFO/FM, Finance Officer specifically is responsible to provide support to finance department in term of looking after of all operational day to day work of accounting, banking, suppliers, payroll, payments and operational reporting of financial records of the organization and dealing with external auditors when required.**
SCOPE OF ROLE:
Reporting to the Finance Coordinator, the FO has the responsibility to manage the Operational, Financial and Business Management, and preparation of financial reports and Periodic Financial Closing. Also to participate in External Audit as and when required. Be Responsible to Office Management/Book keeping/Filing System Management.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
The job holder is accountable for fulfilling his or her roles and responsibilities in line with Islamic values and principles of fairness, humanity, honesty, respect and fair treatment of his/her colleagues and staff. This includes but not limited to:
• Preparation of accounts for statutory audit including the schedules of different items.
• Coordination with external auditors as and when required

QUALIFICATIONS
University degree in Accounting, Business Administration or another related Field.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• Complete Knowledge of accounting and book keeping.
• Complete Knowledge of financial procedures as per IFRS. IAS and various donors.
• Complete Knowledge of financial management.
• University Graduate with 2-3 years’ experience preferable in I/NGO sector.
