We are currently looking for a ‘ICT Infrastructure Support Technician’ to join our dynamic team. The post holder will be responsible for BAU administration, technical support, monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting of Islamic Relief’s cloud and on-premise infrastructure to ensure all infrastructure services are operational, secure and performing as expected. The role has involvement in infrastructure enhancement projects from design through to delivery and maintenance so it is an excellent opportunity to learn whilst making a meaningful impact in the humanitarian space.
We are looking for people with:
- Previous experience in an ICT infrastructure support role
- Experience and knowledge of Office365 administration especially with on-premise ADFS, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft cloud services
- Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting server health, backup completion, patching, user access, group policy and network performance, escalating to senior engineers and external providers if needed
- Experience in participating in technical projects including managing small to medium sized projects from conception to delivery
- Experience of change and configuration management
- Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and experience of working in teams
