Our Birmingham, UK office are looking to recruit a Roving Humanitarian Team Leader who will be responsible in managing a medium to large scale humanitarian response programmes in varied field offices and locations.
The post holder will help communities at risk to deal with future shocks and stresses and if required, cover key vacant posts (such as Head of Programmes) in small to medium country programmes. The post holder will also be responsible for a number of resources, including Material, Financial and Human Resources.
The successful candidate must have or be:
- Experience of working in the humanitarian sector including experience in programme design, monitoring and evaluations and knowledge of participatory techniques.
- Experience of developing humanitarian response strategies.
- Good knowledge of cross cutting issues such as protection & inclusion
- Excellent writing and speaking skills in English. Fluency in French would be advantageous.
- Ability to communicate effectively including presentation and facilitation skills
