Islamic Relief Worldwide is currently recruiting for the position of a Senior MEAL Coordinator.
The Senior MEAL Coordinator will lead on driving forward the IRW Global MEAL Framework which includes its further development, implementation and strengthening the technical MEAL capacity of regional desk and country office MEAL teams. The post holder will lead on conducting internal evaluations and commissioning external evaluations and studies, ensuring these are of high quality and are methodologically sound. The post holder will champion digitalisation of MEAL tools and processes and ensure After Action Plans are developed and key learnings from MEAL processes are documented and disseminated both internally and externally.
The successful candidate must have:
- Track record in leading evaluations in humanitarian and development environments
- Excellent knowledge of current sector trends & best practise in relation to M&E in the context of INGOs
- Fluent report/toolkit writing skills in English
- Working calmly under pressure and meeting strict deadlines
- Willingness and ability to travel abroad (up to 40%)
- Other language skills particularly French and Arabic are desirable.
