Our Birmingham, UK Offices are actively recruiting for the position of ‘Senior Payables Officer’. The post holder will ensure the timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors (internal & external), national and international; performing accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions including aged creditors analysis and the reconciliation of vendor statements.
The successful candidate must have or be:
- A strong customer service focus, and the ability to build effective working relationships with employees and external stakeholders/suppliers
- Ability to prepare, analyse and verify routine financial documents, statements and reports
- Proven experience of people management.
- Proven understanding of accounting principles and concepts (e.g. accounting for payables and receivables
- Expense-claim processing experience, knowledge and understanding
