The FSL Specialist is responsible for planning and implementing of food security and livelihood programme in adherence with IRW Somalia and donor guidelines and standards. The candidate will provide leadership, produce timely inputs to proposal development and ensure financial and programmatic reporting deadlines are met. H/She will have excellent situational awareness of the shifting FSL context.
The successful candidate must have or be:
- A degree in International Development, agricultural economics, nutrition or related field.
- Significant experience in resilience and livelihood related field.
- An in depth understanding of supporting potential sustainable livelihoods options through market-led interventions for different livelihoods group.
- Report/toolkit writing skills in English
- Experience of working in Somalia
