Islamic Relief Worldwide are currently recruiting for the position of International Sourcing & Strategic Recruitment Officer, the role will provide effective professional support to the International Human Resources Transformation (IHRT) Unit for IPD Division to enable the realisation of the IRW Global Goals and Strategic Objectives. In particular, the role will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategic resourcing and talent planning initiatives and interventions as defined in the IHRT Strategy 2018-2021.
The role will lead the IPD Expat Recruitment Process including facilitation of the strategic workforce planning activities, CD’s Development Programme and succession planning for key roles in IR Country-Office Operations. The job holder will be managing IHRT Recruitment Process to ensure full compliance with the IR Recruitment Policy in consultation with IRW HR. S/he will be drafting all letters & contracts for expat staff i.e. Offer letters, contracts, secondments, contract amendments, visa letters etc.
The successful candidate should have proven ability to use and analyse recruitment and workforce planning metrics. The post holder will be CIPD qualified or equivalent (extensive HR experience may also suffice in place). The successful candidate is expected to organise; prioritise and work efficiently under pressure and subject to changing priorities; proven experience managing multiple assignments, meeting deadlines, and using judgment and initiative in problem resolution. The job holder will have extensive experience of generalist services or business partnering in HR. The HRP role will work with the central HR department which oversees HR services nationally and internally. Some knowledge of Arabic, French or one of the Indian subcontinent languages will be an advantage though not essential.
