IRW is actively recruiting for the position of ‘ICT Project Manager' on a full-time, permanent basis to join its dynamic ICT Division based in Birmingham, UK. The organisation is currently operating to a hybrid working model.
The purpose of the role is to oversee the definition, planning, execution and day-to-day control of new as well as service improvement ICT projects from their inception through to delivery of robust solutions that meet organisational needs within time and budget. The PM leads one or more project teams, managing project risks and engages with stakeholders to ensure solutions are fit for purpose.
The successful candidate must have or be:
- Agile Project Management (practitioner), or equivalent project management methodology (e.g. PMP practitioner) qualification
- ICT / Computing / Computer Science or related degree level or equivalent qualification
- Proven ability of running multiple projects, co-ordinating multi-disciplinary teams (technical and professional staff) and achieving project delivery within agreed time frames and budget
- Significant, proven and demonstrable experience working across the whole project lifecycle, including implementation in a complex environment
- Good understanding of the requirements engineering discipline and the wider role of business analysis within ICT projects
- Demonstrate excellent organisational/time management skills and the ability to work calmly and professionally under pressure
- Experience building strong working relationships, demonstrating excellent negotiation, influencing and communication with a wide range of stakeholders - internal and external, e.g. business SMEs, management, internal ICT, suppliers and contractors
- Able to interpret and extract information from a variety of sources, and create well presented, accurate, concise documentation, demonstrating attention to detail, in formats such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Power BI
- Experience of delivering technology solutions across the Microsoft stack end to end.
- Understand the multiple facets of ICT, within infrastructure, business applications, and service management, including cyber/information security risks, as well as the drivers, risks associated with, and implications of on premise, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure environments
