Islamic Relief Worldwide is currently recruiting for the position of Programme Impact and Learning Manager who will lead IRWs Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) team, to ensure that IRW develops the appropriate tools and frameworks to evidence impact and learning. The successful candidate will support IRWs strategy process and ensure innovation and a culture of learning take hold within IRW. The chosen candidate will represent IRW in the context of impact and learning to strategic and cross organisational donors. S/He will work closely with the Global Operations and Humanitarian departments to ensure systems are in place to collect evidence of result focused delivery, impact and value for money, as well as ensuring quality input into key bid development processes.
The successful candidate should have a track record of working within an INGO with extensive MEAL experience. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who not only understands the importance of systems and frameworks but has a track record of fostering innovation. The chosen candidate will have excellent knowledge and experience of accountability systems. Excellent inter-personal, presentation and analytical skills are required and the successful candidate must be a good motivator of teams. She/he should have experience of engaging with and influencing external stakeholders as well as influencing the ways of working of internal stakeholders. The candidate will have strong communication skills in English.
