IRW’s International Programmes Division is recruiting for the position of ‘Programme Information Officer’ to join its dynamic team based in Birmingham, UK. The organisation is currently working to a Hybrid working model.

The purpose of the role is to support the Programme Quality department, wider International Programmes Division (IPD) and other stakeholders globally, in ensuring the availability of accurate data and carrying out timely data analysis and reporting relating to international programmes information. This will include information and data management relating to Islamic Relief’s grant management processes, e.g. contract verification process, change request management, quality assurance, via the use, maintenance and development of different internal systems such as PSCRF, SharePoint platform etc.

To support the different teams involved in Islamic Relief’s Digital Transformation project, specifically the ERP project and the implementation and rollout of the Global Programmes & MEAL System (GPMS). In addition to this, the development and maintenance of existing, interim systems is a critical part of the role whilst Islamic Relief embarks on this digital transformation journey.

The successful candidate must have or be:

  • Understanding of Managing Information Systems.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to organise; prioritise and work efficiently under pressure and subject to changing priorities; proven experience managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and using judgment and initiative in problem resolution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Demonstrable ability to provide quality engaging presentations.
  • Able to produce graphs and pivot tables using Excel, including data manipulation.
  • Proficient in the use of PowerBI for data visualisation, reporting and communication purposes.
  • Good Knowledge and experience of working with Microsoft packages including SharePoint, One Drive, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Good analytical skills to examine data within produced reports to make recommendations for improvements.
  • Understanding the importance of accurate, relevant and up-to-date information
